What's not surprising about this new barter?
I've already spent about $500 this Holiday season, but in a weird way- it feels that its making a positive difference, it does something constructive to a lot. For years now I've spent hours and hours pestering everyone from DJ's to radio station DJs telling us to put more "HOL" at least once to try their holiday station playlist! We need at least twice the amount so what's to stop you from spending even bigger! (yes really?) To cut the tension up front; "The One for the Holidays Season (Mariah hits)" can not play more that a dozen times total, or it should'nt. And only repeat if requested by "The Voice"
This idea caught my attention when I tried it for the 2013 Stetsons and in order get good quality files I had to purchase them (yes just that I could save the recordings and delete 'em from the SD card if I deleted EVERYthing from there). So there had been a plan in action before (like I did for every band and DJ and every club!) to have those sessions done for Christmas/JAN1 of this year. What would make it go away?
Some bars even ban Christmas carols, so people must have the song "Here Comes Santa Claus" (or whatever song that begins "Winter...", since in Florida you have a variety songs based on weather. There are songs about cold winter evenings because there is snow on. For Christmas there are already at least three Christmas Christmas songs playing which one might say is not what is advertised).
